Stone hatchet

How a stone hatchet was made:

• A small stone was chosen and worked with a heavy hammer;
• The small chips were levelled with a fine picketing;
• The hatchet was sharpened livelling the cutted part with a slab functioning as a file;
• The hatchet was fixed on a wooden handle tied together with vegetal fibres of animal leather strings.
